आई रे ! , आई रे !

नफरत दूर हटाती,

गले प्रेम से हमें मिलाती ,

खुशियां सारी घर में लाती,

विछुड़ो की ये याद दिलाती,

मिलते सारे पेम से प्यारे,

गाते, कहते, होली आई रे !

आई रे ! , आई रे ! ,होली आई रे ! (1)

जबान न जाने, कब-2 चलती,

दिलों में कुछ के कटुता भरती,

कुछ को हमसे दूर है करती,

होली आती ,गले मिलाती,

नाचें, कूदे, झूमें, प्यारे,

गाते, कहते, होली आई रे !

आई रे ! , आई रे ! ,होली आई रे ! (2)

बच्चे मन के सच्चे,

लेकें दौड़ें भर पिचकारी,

नहीं किसी का बन्धन है,

रंग बिखरे चले पिचकारी,

खेलते कूदते. लगते प्यारे,

गाते, कहते, होली आई रे !

आई रे ! , आई रे ! ,होली आई रे ! (3)

बीमार प डे भी आते बाहर,

देख-2 मन को हर्षाते,

गले मिलते भरते रंग,

खाते गुजियां मन मुस्काते,

बड़े प्रेम से मिलकर गाते,

कहते, ये त्यौहार निराला रे !

गाते, कहते, होली आई रे !

आई रे ! , आई रे ! ,होली आई रे ! (4)

कान्हा खेलें ,राधा आतीं,

वृन्दावन में शमां बधातीं,

गीत प्रेम के मिलकर गातीं,

रंग गुलाल से गलिंयां भरती,

कृपा कान्हा की हम को मिलती,

दिल से गीत के रसगुल्ले छोड़े,

बृज के गीत निराले रे

गाते, कहते, होली आई रे !

आई रे ! , आई रे ! ,होली आई रे ! (5)

Holi is a Very important festival of India. It removes hatred and gives a chance to embrace with a feeling of friendship bringing the real joy. This festival also reminds about those left for abode. The atmosphere becomes so catchy and enjoying that every body sings, The Holi has come, come. This is true that throughout the year we speak out without understanding the impact on others and it creates enmity without our knowing, some people feel at distance, But This festival brings a chance for everyone to forget their enmity and then everybody sings Holi has come ,come,

Children out of their innocence take their Pichkari (toy to fill colored water and then spray over others) and spray colored water over everyone and during this festival nobody feels unhappy ,but enjoy it ,The scene of children running, laughing,screaming, ,jumping and spraying water is very -2 emotional, enjoying and happier. Instead of being angry, everybody sings Holi has come, come.

Those sick cannot resist the temptation of coming out and with rapt withal in the previous memories and feel very happy. They also embrace with people and enjoy eating “Gujia”( a sweet dish prepared of wheat, Mawa ;made after the milk is burnt at a particular point , and sugar).They also spray colors and sing the Song, Holi has come ,come .

The every description shall be out of context, if we fail to know the scene at Vrindavan (Near Mathura in UP,India),where actors and actresses wear the dress of Radha and Krishna and perform in the same way, as Lord Krishna did during his lifetime. The roads and lanes are full of colors and with sonorous and sweet songs enchanting everyone, For Brij (area) Folk songs draw everyone making frenzy of. The blessings from Lord Krishna also come our way during this festival and everybody enjoys this festival singing ,Holi has come ,come. (An important significance lies here that the colors indicate about the colorful world inviting to enjoy the life amidst----- ).(Raj)
