विश्वकप

क्रिकेट में जीतता भारत खुश, मिलती हार करे  निराश‍

खेल हमारा बड़ा है प्यारा, सभी जीत की रखते आस,

चौके, छक्के, जब  पडते हैं, दिल तो बैठ जाता है अपना

हार कबूल नहीं है हम को, इससे बुरा न कोई सपना

पर खेल खेल होता है ,देश को इसने बाँध लिया है,

एकता की बड़ी मिशाल बना, दिल तो इसने जीत लिया है

दुआ करें सदा जीतें हम, हार से ना हो अपना सामना

जीत जीत के लिए हो मैदान, झंच झंच चाहे पड़े नापना

हार कभी हो जाती है ,घबराने की कौन सी बात

जंगल में होता शेर निराश, खाली जाती जब उसकी घात

विश्व  कप जीत गये उस दिन, पाकिस्तान को दी थी मात,

वो भी खुश मस्ती काटी, फाइनल हारे  भारत के हाथ

चैन की नींद सोयेगा पड़ोसी, कहेगा अपना दूसरा जनम,

गायेगा ,हम तो हारे सो हारे , ले डूवे तुमको भी सनम

दुआ  करें हम फिर से ,महनत रंग लायेगी,

चूक हुई इसं बार आगे दुनिया परचम तलहरायेगी

English Translation

When we win match in cricket,we feel very happy,

Defeat takes us to depression,

Cricket is very good game,

so we have the hope to win only,

When we see fours and sixes,

It haunts us like anything or in bad dream,

But game is game,

Defeat is also a part of us,

This game binds us all,and chain of Integration is strong , 

It is because of it,

We pray that we win all the time ,

for the fields may suit to us all the time,

For this hard work is still required,

Many a times even a king in the jungle

 fails in its attempt to catch a prey

We have already won the World cup ,

When we defeated Pakistan,

Who feels happy that other than India,Cup

Will go to others,

However,this defeat is crucial,

It will take us to Victory further 

and World shall recognize us next time .
